Welcome. My name is Lisa, and I would love to work with you on any of the above. It's 2024, and I have a company, Your Career Space, where I've created a framework, programs, workshops, and events to empower, enable and guide people with their careers and my USP, Career Stories. Here's the thing: it was unexpected, and I love it!I guide people to bring the best version of themselves to all of their professional endeavours. This can include: ➜ Writing your Career Story➜ Writing your About Section ➜ Getting clear on your pitch➜ Strategising your next career move➜ Optimising LinkedIn The work follows a framework and method I’ve created and includes reflective exercises, both past and future, positioning and identifying blocks that keep you stuck or safe. ★ I work one-on-one with clients or in groups ★ I hold workshops on Career Storytelling★ I have two LinkedIn workshops for employed and self-employed people ★ I host Career Story Nights LinkedIn is an incredibly valuable platform, and I believe every professional should have an up-to-date profile. I've never hacked the algorithm because that's impossible. However, I study LinkedIn, can sense a well-loved profile, and can guide you beyond the fundamentals to get it right and attract the clients or roles you desire. My love of LinkedIn and Career Storytelling came from my own needs. After leaving the big-box corporate world and working for some of the biggest names, such as Nike, Burberry, Selfridges, and Gap, I wanted to work for myself. I launched my first company to be met with the pandemic. I took some time out and emerged into upskilling in my passion projects, from social media to copywriting and interior design. Fast-forward to 2023, and I'm struggling to communicate the multifaceted aspects of my career; we are more than one role, title, or experience. I dug into how to do this and emerged with a business idea, a framework to work with people on and launched Your Career Space. I don't want anyone to feel stuck or unable to move forward because they don't know how to position their careers; this is why Your Career Space now exists.
