I managed cross functional teams to deliver a portfolio of innovative oncology projects through the early phases of drug development. This involved leadership of Global Project Team meetings, accountability for formal Project Management Planning and Control aspects, and responsibility for team performance. Key achievements:• Management of $150M project budget; identified and delivered a $12M cost saving on a project• Planned and led workshop for 30 people including external experts to define a project strategy• Delivery of team effectiveness workshops allowed scheduled meeting time to be halved • Coached and mentored junior Project Managers to enable them to achieve their goals• Coached project team members to enable them to deliver their project accountabilities• Proficient in leading complex meetings with multiple Global sites, using ‘virtual meeting’ tools- Skype, Webex, video-conference, allowing optimal use of meeting time.• Planned and led 3 day International conference for 50 people for best practice sharing between peers• Appointed as 'North West Ambassador', partnering with senior leaders to drive cultural changes.
