LAVA is a small non-profit focused on enabling small businesses to thrive in the Los Altos community. The members participate in several committees that work to improve the downtown area, keep in touch with city affairs and the pulse of the community. These committees include the Property Owner’s Committee, City Affairs/Economic Development Committee, Beautification Committee and Promotions Committee.LAVA also coordinates special events, fund raisers and community events. The largest event being the Los Altos Art and Wine Festival.My role involved office management, business association sales support, project management, committee organizing and many other task to support the executive director and the vision of the association.

Saratoga Retirement Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located on 37 acres in Saratoga,CA.My last role involved overseeing all event activities for over 100 residents in the assisted living and memory care department. I managed two staff and I also supervised dozens of volunteers. I was awarded Outstanding Service by Resident Council Saratoga Retirement Community in 2012.

The clinics goal is to provide high quality individualized care to each patient to fit their need and goals. Their treatment approach combines specialized manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to promote proactive therapy and encourage patients to make lifestyle changes and achieve goals. I assisted physical therapist in providing quality care for patients.

Jeremiah's promise is a non-profit organization that works with foster youth and provides them opportunities to go to college as well as job and life skill training.My role involved working with foster youth to prepare them for college. I helped manage the housing program and I coordinated fundraising events to show appreciation for our volunteers. The housing program is no longer around however the mentoring program still exists.

I taught kindergarten for 6 months until the school unfortunately closed the K-12 due to lack of financial resources.
