ClimateCHECK was founded in 2007 and provides innovative service and software solutions for climate change, sustainability, and cleantech. ClimateCHECK is recognized for its excellence in GHG MRV (greenhouse gas measurement, reporting and verification) and leadership with standards innovation.ClimateCHECK is one of the co-founders of the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI), which is a global leader in training and capacity building, having an extensive online curriculum for GHG MRV e-learning and over 3000 alumni in over 160 countries. ClimateCHECK launched Interactive Leader and the Collaborase online software platform to support Nextgen governance system using consensus-based structured mass collaboration and consultation. ClimateCHECK co-founded Xpansiv as a Nextgen technology company integrating blockchain, data analytics, markets, finance, standards, policy and sustainability. Xpansiv's science-based, data-driven solutions help unlock the next wave of innovation and investment.

During the summer I was hired jointly by the University of Waterloo and Gartner Lee Limited. I was hired to research the effects of chloride-rich groundwater on tree-growth in the Niagara Escarpment. This research involved extensive research and field work in ecology as well as dendrochronology. It also incorporated extensive research and lab work on stable isotope analysis using oxygen 18 (O18, chloride and deuterium). It has taught me how to have strong time management skills, immense problem solving and the ability to be self-taught. This research further expanded into my senior honors thesis.
