Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed? Want to navigate the work and home juggle in a way that feels right for you? I support mums in doing just that through 1:1 coaching. I see it all around me (and I’ve felt it myself) - working mums drowning under the overwhelm, the mental and domestic load, the care-giving, all the career ambitions. I can see that in trying to perform the juggle we are de-prioritising ourselves, our health, our joy.Let’s stop doing that.“Working with Lisa was a fabulous process, and gave me the confidence to make a significant career change knowing I had looked at all the angles thoroughly. Lisa’s kind and thoughtful approach was so supportive and I have come out the other end feeling empowered and with greater clarity about my priorities and values. Thank you Lisa!”Prior to coaching I worked in Government, as well as co-founded the peer-to-peer rental startup, Open Shed.I am an experienced legal public policy and governance professional with over 10 years of diverse experience at the Federal, State and Local Government level. I am known for being people smart, a trusted advisor, leader, relationship builder, strategic thinker and effective communicator. Between 2011 and 2018 I was a co-founder and CEO of Open Shed, a peer to peer rental marketplace, which transformed the way Australians connected with their stuff and each other. During Open Shed’s 6 years of operation, we facilitated 1000s of rental transactions between Open Shed members. Through the platform, our members earned a little extra cash, saved some money or simply felt good about sharing! We also worked with our charity partner OzHarvest to fund 1000s of meals by giving members an option to donate their rental fee.The “Open Shed years” clearly showed me that my passions are sharing new ideas, inspiring change and creating opportunities for collaboration and connection.

Research & Response Officer, Governance DirectorateCentral Coast Council Mar 2018 - Aug 2019GosfordThe Central Coast is one of the fastest growing regions in NSW and is the 6th largest Local Government Area in Australia. My primary focus in this role was the proactive release of Council held information with the aim of improving organisational transparency and increasing community trust in Council. I believe that information is an important organisational asset that will be central to future innovation. In May 2019 I initiated and organised Council’s inaugural Information Awareness Month to raise awareness of access to information compliance aspects, and also the opportunities to innovate with information. I communicated key messages through screensavers, posters and articles in the staff newsletter. I also organised two internal thought leadership events - Opening Up Central Coast Council: A Conversation about information, technology and the Central Coast Community. These events were well attended and prompted great feedback, for example: “Engaging presenters, facilitators...pre questions were a great segway for conversation. Lively and casual. Well attended, even the CEO popped in. Real life culture speaks greater than words…”In this role I was also involved in privacy policy, providing privacy advice and undertaking Privacy Impact Assessments. -
