As a project manager professional by "day" and a passionate Yoga teacher, I find that each one of these roles feeds the other and they make me a more whole teacher and manager together. Trained in various yoga disciplines, my lineage follows Iyengar; but I have integrating multiple other styles. Through the years I have gathered knowledge and a passion of the human body and spirit and have integrated these in my classes. Likewise I have used the ideas and energy from my mind/body experiences to help business teams and people become highly energized and satisfied. My experience in the business world allows me to relate to students who come to class after working, full of stress and with very active minds. It is from this place of understanding and experience I am able to help people relax, and reconnect to their authentic self, rather than the role of employee, manager, supervisor, etc. that each of us step into every day. Our career does not define who we are, its simply a vehicle to experience the world and gain knowledge and oh yeah pay our bills too :)

As the lead manager for the transition from Waterfall to Agile, worked closely with the IT and business management to establish structure and teams as well as to coordinate the training and transition. While this transition will be ongoing for years, we were able to begin to execute agile methodology within 3 months. once all teams were established, my day to day activities shifted to more traditionally RTE functions of coordination, support and oversight.
