Lisa has over ten years of experience working as an executive/administrative/creative assistant in a variety of fields, including, but not limited to, youth counseling, public relations and government administration. She is originally from the U.S., but with a BA in Political Science and International Studies, moved to South Africa in 2010 to pursue an MPhil in Transitional Justice. Prior to relocating, Lisa held the position of District Executive Secretary for the Florida House of Representatives, where she handled the administrative logistics of a three-county congressional district in northern Florida. More recently, Lisa coordinated the day-to-day operations for C4 EcoSolutions, a Cape Town-based company which focuses on climate change mitigation and adaptation projects for clients such as U.N. Environment. Currently, she is acting as Assistant to the UK Director and PPD Specialist at Light for the World, an international disability and development organization whose vision is an inclusive society where no one is left behind, based in Vienna, Austria.
