I first met Maggie Bolger in 2012 and I knew that one day I would join the creative innovative team at Maggie & Rose. In 2017 when I was ready to move home to London from Dubai I wrote to Maggie and it was like no time had passed. I updated her on my skills, I created a cool video of my career to date and was then offered a job to join the team. My first role was Head of Training and Development within 6 months we became an accredited early years training provider, I was then promoted to Nursery Guru. My role was to oversee the development of settings, management and openings of new sites. As an ICF accredited coach I focus on people, I coach and support my teams to be and do their best which equals success.

Dubai

Dubai is a great city for networking, whilst at an event I met my soon to be new boss who had set up a nursery in a trendy area of Dubai. The business was new, it had a concept and a vision and needed someone to bring it to life. I used my skills to create a a magical early years nursery experience. After 2 years of success I decided it was time to move back to London.

At university I studied management and leadership in early years, after owning and managing a edutainment style business I decided to go back to my roots of education. I wanted to work at the best nursery in Dubai so I wrote a heartfelt letter to Lucy Bruce who would become my new boss. I highlighted how I could support the business and why she should hire me.I then spent an academic year supporting the opening of the second soon to be successful eco nursery in the heart of Dubai. I was attracted to Home Grown as it was connected to Harmony House a women and children's day shelter in India and I wanted to help support a worthy mission. When this contract ended, I was ready for a new experience.

Dubai (Abu Dhabi And Qatar)

After gaining the skills I acquired at Gymboree, I felt ready to fly the nest and move from London to another cool city, I chose Dubai. I landed a great job working for a UK company, our mission was to set up creative play spaces and fun classes for local and expat families visiting Dubai shopping malls. My role was to manage the creche sites and develop my teams and the business function, I also got to be creative and get involved in design and layout of the spaces. As my contract came to an end I decided to stay in the Middle East as my new city was now home.

Ealing

After completing an Acting Diploma and working as a kids play, music and drama teacher I decided to combine my improvisation and play skills with my entrepreneurial spirit and jump into life as Franchise owner of my own business. Gymboree Ealing - was born!In addition to all the fun of teaching classes to little ones and grown up's, I became a fully successful business owner managing all functions of my business. I managed Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Training and Development, raising benchmarks, outcomes and achieving targets. After 5 years I began business coaching and decided I was ready for a new challenge, so I sold my franchise to a parent who had been a client of mine since the beginning of my journey.
