About Lisa Bowers

With over 20 years of IT, business, and education experience, I found myself in 2014 looking for a new challenge. It happened to come at the same time that a friend, a local entrepreneur, posted something on her Face Book page:“How does small business owners work IN their business and ON their business at the same time? I can either serve my customers or I can invoice them. There’s not enough time in the day to do both! Ugh!”I had been looking for something that would be different, a little challenge, and I knew I could help her. We met; I ended up helping her establish a customer management system that allowed her to add new customers, get the necessary paperwork/contracts electronically linked with her website, a schedule so she knew where she needed to be when, and most importantly, an automatic invoicing system so that she was getting paid. A few months later, Office Allies was created. I love helping entrepreneurs grow their business. My goal for each of my clients is to outgrow me, building their business to the point that they need someone full time. At that point, I will gladly help their hire that perfect replacement for me.

Evaluated multiple stack UNIX system and over 300 individual legendary interactive programs for Y2K impact and led the resolution team, resulting in no software failure for a 24-hour operation manufacturing center.Project leader of smoothest UNIX system mitigation in the company's 25 year history, resulting in zero downtime as a result of the conversion. Previous conversions within company history resulted in major workflow interruptions for days afterwards.
