After 4.5 months as a contractor through Synergis IT+Creative I was offered the opportunity to convert to an in-house position on the Store Tasking team. I have worked primarily on creative storytelling initiatives (storyboarding and video) to help convey new concepts, ideas and initiatives to internal stakeholders. I am also working with an amazing group of people to oversee the initiative to build a design system for the store tasking area, which encapsulates the many different mobile experiences that enable our store associates to perform their daily tasks.

Working on the MyPet App was truly an exercise in rapid need-based skill growth and personal growth as a creative professional. I was brought onto the project as a vector asset illustrator and eventually became the sole UI/UX designer, and point of contact and project oversight manager with our Ukranian development team. I also contributed very substantially to other areas of the project such as the creation of illustration assets, creating investment and promotional materials such as business plans, investor packets and pitch decks as well as environmental presentation/display materials for consumer and corporate events.

In this role I created wireframes and advanced mock-ups and prototypes of user interfaces for a variety of applications and websites, for B2B, B2C and SaaS. In addition, I also developed pitch materials and marketing strategies to present to prospective clients as well as attended client meetings and strategy sessions.

I designed environmental signage and iPad applications for large scale corporate events such as the Home Depot Product Walk in Las Vegas as well as the Cisco Systems Live! 2017 technology convention. Using Adobe Creative Suite and Google SketchUp, I concepted and designed signage and environmental elements based off brand specific style guides and prepared them for off-site production. I also created user interface designs for iPad apps specific to certain interactive stations at the Home Depot Product Walk.

I was employed as one half of a two-person design team at Rapid Sign Systems. I had the responsibility of designing, printing, and constructing a wide range of signage for private companies ranging in size from local to international, as well as state government. My specialization was implementing our clients design vision and then seeing their orders through production via operating and maintaining our large format printer, and working with my partner to fabricate the final product.

After graduating college, I was employed as a full-time on site contracted designer for Cartoon Network's web department. I worked with their wonderful design team to create visual media for CartoonNetwork.com and their other affiliated websites and properties. I worked with many different departments to meet the needs of all invested parties, while keeping engaging kid-friendly design at the forefront of my priorities. I very much enjoyed my time there and learned a great deal.
