Current: Oldest child has graduated and navigating the adult world. He is autistic and defining his place in the world. Giving him the tools to create the life he wants to live and develop. Second child is junior in high school (still homeschooled). Main focus for college - Robotics, animation, linguistics. Helping her acquire the experiences and knowledge to support these goals.Update: Children are now in 6th Grade and High School Freshman. Along with my duties as Homeschool mom/teacher, I have added board member to the Community Homeschool Center. The main focus of my duties there are finances and scheduling of classes. I am often available to assist in daily operations.Creating a supportive learning environment for my children and relaxing environment for my husband. I currently home school my two children in kindergarten and 3rd Grade respectively.Don't let the stigma deter you, I would say we travel and interact with more people in any given day than I did when I went to public school. The challenge is to get to everything we have to and work in all the details of what we'd like to delve into to find the deep, deep secrets.Anyone that thought staying at home was a breeze didn't do it for long. I will say managing a testing team, during launch, working 90-120 hours is a lot easier than molding another human being into a viable part of society. At least in my experience. There are no sick days, vacations, or times to clock out till the next round. Yet, the rewards are far reaching. I love books and I love technology. I have passed both of those passions to my children and we puzzle through as many things as we can to discover whatever "magic" lies within.

Led a team of 6 employees to complete testing of billing system from backend tables to front end GUI to connecting to a test network and powering up a live phone. Each employee was an expert in one module and back up to another module. Each team member rotated expert and back up modules each release to enable each team member to gain expert proficiency in each module from backend table set up in SQL to final activation of phone in front end GUI to powering up an actual phone to test functionality. Ensured each team member coordinated with respective end users in module of expertise to maintain open communication with changes in software and necessary tests to keep focus. Coordinated with Engineering and their network releases to enable our software components to use a test network to activate phones. Coordinated with management and other software teams to ensure information was updated on both sides. Maintained self proficiency on network and software to help any areas that needed more focus.

Tested front end interfaces, set up data in SQL to ensure back up data was available for testing, coordinated with team to complete testing in a timely matter, attended meetings with management and developers to update and obtain updates to software changes. Coordinated with other teams to coordinate cross-platform testing to test front end capabilities with back end functionality.

Tested various interfaces to enable each program functioned as desired prior to launch. Coordinated with developers, programmers, end users, and management to ensure each defect was fixed and user functionality was clear to execute. Tested live software as each release was launched and trained end user on new functionality both remotely and in person.

Managed office from front desk to receive packages, answer telephones, backup customer service representative, maintained office supplies, set up new offices, baseline computer setup for employees, managed back up computer backups, reviewed inventor submissions, and tested games before launch (Rush Hour).
