About Lisa Markwick

My experience and interest is in leadership that can create breakthrough for systemic impact. Involve me in projects and organisations that have the intention and power to shift our toughest community and organisational issues. I am especially motivated by the opportunity to influence interconnectedness, and a sense of wisdom, belonging and voice at all levels across a community or organisation. I offer consultancy in leadership and organisational transformation. I’ve been in the field of leadership, transformation and adult development for over 30 years, as an Executive Director, Psychologist, executive leadership coach, programme designer and as a facilitator.I am dedicated to whatever it takes to bring about honest shifts in our world (myself, our people, organisations, our communities), towards purposefulness, effective collaboration, and inquiry in action that is “gutsy” and makes the differences worth making.     Lisa was engaged as a founding member by Excelerator - the New Zealand Leadership Institute (University of Auckland Business School) , to design, direct and facilitate (with an amazing team of others) their Community Leadership Programme initiatives. Among other projects, this work took Lisa to Northland where she was responsible for the Kaipara Leadership Programme (in partnership with the Kaipara District Council), and later for a leadership programme for sporting leaders in Northland in partnership with SPARK.
