The Project Restore model is a ‘New Zealand Made’ Restorative Justice (RJ) process designed specifically for interventions in sexual violence cases. The programme is unique in New Zealand and one of only a few such programmes in the world. Project Restore has evolved since 2005 in response to feedback from stakeholders and research regarding its principles, processes and outcomes to deliver the safest programme for all participants, particularly survivors, which also has the best chance of reducing possible re-offending. The Launchpad has been designed to take inspired business ideas and turn them into tested, investment-ready social enterprises that will have a big impact on a social or environmental problem.Capability building11 Teams ("Venturers") learn about the business skills needed to develop and run a successful social enterprise. They are offered start-up training, mentoring and leadership coaching. They learn how to use business innovation processes to build a sustainable business model. Content includes Lean Startup, business modelling, strategy, finance, sales and marketing. Along with the theory and the tools, teams also get access to successful social entrepreneurs who share their own experiences.Mentoring and coachingMy role is to guide and coach the Contact Lead team as they support the success of the Venture Teams and to assist them to apply this mindset and view of leadership and of social enterprise in their corporate leadership roles. Market and capital investmentAt the end of the six-month programme, the Launchpad also offers access to market and capital investment. Throughout the programme, teams will have multiple opportunities to engage with external investors and funders, to ensure they have a receptive audience when pitching for finance on the last day.

Lisa was engaged as a founding member by Excelerator - the New Zealand Leadership Institute (University of Auckland Business School) , to design, direct and facilitate (with an amazing team of others) their Community Leadership Programme initiatives. Among other projects, this work took Lisa to Northland where she was responsible for the Kaipara Leadership Programme (in partnership with the Kaipara District Council), and later for a leadership programme for sporting leaders in Northland in partnership with SPARK. Lisa was also the Programme Director for the Institute’s nationwide leadership programme for younger leaders (21-28year olds) (Future Leaders Programme). During her 5 years with the New Zealand Leadership Institute team she was also co-facilitator/ designer for the Hillary Programme, long term leadership development for NZs senior leaders and CEOs and workshop facilitator for other in-house and open programmes as required based on expertise.
