We’re Coastguard Tautiaki Moana, Aotearoa New Zealand’s primary maritime search and rescue organisation, and we’re proudly a grassroots Kiwi charity. Our vision is to help all New Zealanders get the best out of their time on the water, safely and with confidence. When we’re not helping people on the water, we’re sharing all we know because we know knowledge saves lives.
Each year our 2,000 plus amazing volunteers readily exchange the comfort of home or a paid job to selflessly give their time to help bring Kiwis home safely - from Houhora to Bluff, across the oceans, major rivers and lakes of our beautiful country.
