Volunteer - I worked as an Assistant Teacher in Youth Musical Theatre and for Mini Cheerleading (ages 4-8). I was actively involved in promoting YMCA events to primary and high school age students. I took part and ran a 12 Hour 'Danceathon', raising money for equipment and resources for future YMCA engagements such as the Youth Club that I was heavily involved in running.Dance Teacher - Delivered full courses of dancing to group sizes of 10+ people, covering Junior Street Dance, Senior Street Dance and Street Cheer. As part of this, I was chosen to independently run classes for an International Exchange Visit consisting of 30+ people. Summer School Worker - Ran the programme providing activities and entertainment for 5 - 14 year olds, managing the volunteer workers and worked closely with participants with physical and mental disabilities.Throughout all my roles, I was seen as the 'go-to' person to support and assist participants with physical and mental disabilities. My work allowed these people to participate fully in any and all activities.I fundraised and attended various national charity engagements as well as in the local community throughout the extent of my time with the YMCA. Furthermore, I have met Local MP to discuss opinions on raising alcohol prices, its perceived benefit and what would occur as a result.
