Led PSG Talent Acquisition efforts in attracting and hiring all employees for all Altera North America sites. Altera is an Intel company. * Led a team of recruiters, support staff, expatriate/relocation specialist, new college graduate rotation program, and university recruiting programs. * Established talent acquisition strategies, including setting global direction, processes, and alignment for recruiting. I assess, select, and manage relationships with vendors. I partner with Finance and business units leaders to plan strategic talent acquisition plans. I establish cost-effective, efficient, and group enhancing recruiting tools, and partner with business units leaders and HR colleagues to ensure talent acquisition effectiveness. * Led Altera's applicant tracking system transition from Taleo to Workday Recruiting, which included ROI analysis, stakeholder buy-in, overall project planning and driving, system evaluation and configuration, and implementation. The project was implemented in an extremely aggressive time frame on time and under budget. * Lead and developed a team of HR professionals, including coaching and mentorship that has resulted in multiple promotions and team restructuring.* Solely responsibly for executive recruiting in North America, including close partnership with the C-suite and other executive level staff. * Led and managed a team of five Technical Writers primarily documenting Quartus II software features and workflows.* Set department and aligned group goals with a team of documentation managers. I meticulously determined and planned resource allocation to ensure that the team was optimally resourced--neither under nor over. Aligns subordinate goals to overall strategic and longer term goals. * Managed strategic initiatives, including the team's first KPI dashboard, which helped the team to identify and act on key metrics. These KPIs helped to ensure that team is producing quality work through consistent key performance indicator measurement. * Drove and reported on departmental and team progress and issues. * Drove cross-functional teams to represent Technical Communications interests and ensure collaboration with stakeholders and customers, including an initiative to establish consistent best practices for developing and publishing technical documentation. * Developed staff for increasing levels of responsibility, including setting goals, providing formal and informal performance evaluation and feedback. I was responsible for team restructuring, including promoting top talent and managing out low performers.
