A strategic executive leader with key expertise in single family housing finance, including mortgage origination, credit risk management and pricing, industry regulations, counterparty relationship management and contracts, mortgage operations, operational risk management, compliance, and technology, I drive the development and delivery of origination products and programs and the execution of all aspects of primary/secondary market business relationships and contracts, including representations and warranties. I effectively lead and manage people and teams and nurture and develop talent. During my tenure with Wells Fargo, I was known for supporting innovation as well as expertly leading all strategic and compliance activities related to secondary market investors and insurers. My role and responsibilities expanded considerably during my nine years at Wells. Working collaboratively across the industry with secondary market stakeholders, trade associations and regulators, I supported the bank’s efforts related to loan origination and servicing products and policies as well as strategic objectives. Through strong and effective leadership of my team of 300 and working cross-functionally internally, as well as externally, I cultivated meaningful stakeholder relationships through which impactful lending and technology products and business solutions were developed and deployed. In my final position as vice president, single-family business strategy and implementation, I led 100 staff and focused on providing liquidity, stability, and affordability in the U.S. housing finance market.
