Lisa Moore is an Australian Architect with over 25 years experience in architecture. She is a currently Chair of the Board and National Councillor Board Director for the Australian Institute of Architects. She has been director of ‘And Architecture’ since 2007, and has procured diverse of project types - residential houses, multi residential apartments, educational buildings including schools & kindergartens, retail, cafes, art galleries, & offices – in urban, regional & coastal locations throughout Victoria, New South Wales & Queensland. She is also experienced with policy, heritage conservation and design governance and currently works at Sunshine Coast Council. Lisa is knowledgeable in all aspects fundamental to the discipline of architecture; Practice Management Design, Documentation, Project Delivery, combined with other considerations such as social and ethical understandings, ecological, cultural and historic factors, and communication; integral in the successful practice of architecture.Lisa is actively involved in shaping the architecture community and profession through public presentations, project & event facilitation. She is a committed member of the Australian Institute of Architects, and has experience as a lecturer, course coordinator & teacher at numerous Universities throughout Australia. Her experience includes Chair of the AIA National Education Committee, QLD AIA (Australian Institute of Architects) Chapter Councillor, Chair AIA Education Committee Queensland Chapter, and Standing Panel Member for the AACA, Architects Accreditation Council of Australia.Her personal interest in Australian history, culture and environment, as well as music, art, science & education influence her individual design and management style. Her approach to architectural practice is practical, creative, inclusive & collaborative.
