“Be the one that they can’t live without” is a quote to live by that my Dad instilled in me early in my career. Although no one is indispensable, I have advanced his lesson by engaging with others as the one whose call, text, or email you will always return because you know that there is value at the other end. I am energized by people and excel at learning what is important to them and then delivering upon that. I am equally committed to my employer, not content to be considered overhead expense. Whether my role has been PR, Government or Regulatory relations, Public Policy, Economic Development or Sales, I have always found a way to deliver and drive. Once I commit, I am all in. I have been the recipient of world class training from a Fortune 50 company and from involvement in non-profit boards who have it right – whose passion, purpose and strategic visions serve their communities at the highest levels. Some of my greatest personal achievements have come from assisting in the advancement of their missions and connecting with those whose lives are made better because of it.With the exception of one, each role in my past was newly created. The upside? They offered unique environments in which to blaze entrepreneurial trails and new success models while operating within a large corporate construct. Building an investment real estate business was the next step in creating my own outcomes but the most determinant experiences of my lifetime were those created while involved with the Anthony Robbins organization. I have lived and thrived through years of significant downsizing of colleagues dear to me. I learned how critical it is to leave those remaining whole and to interact with respect. Whether working alone or with teams, my goal is to energize a room and leave a team better off for having worked with me. Those who remain know how to dig in. There is always a way and there is always another gear.
