Lisa Nelson has 20+ years experience in communications, marketing, and program development for nonprofit and corporate entities. Nelson spent seven years in Egypt where she led the country’s largest English-language publisher to develop its electronic asset management and online publishing division. Using advanced marketing and communications techniques, she has developed communications strategies to promote products ranging from neurosurgery to Gulfstream jets. Nelson holds a master’s degree in international relations from Boston University, a master’s degree in Middle Eastern history from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies, and bachelors degrees in journalism and women’s studies, a degree program she pioneered at Boston University. She now resides in Southwest Missouri with her husband and two children.
