The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV) cultivates philanthropy and inspires Hispanic children and families to achieve personal greatness. HFSV engages leadership and bridges resources to invest in a thriving Hispanic community. Plan, organize and supervise the development, operations, and maintenance of all education initiatives and programs including Latinos In Technology Initiative, Parent Engagement, and STEM Programming.Prepare and execute the promotion and marketing of all education programs and coordinate cooperation from a complex network of “partners.”Responsible for maintaining and promoting the Foundation’s social networking sites: Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

Scout from University of California is a SAPEP program that develops and delivers A-G approved, online classes and curriculum to students around the globe. Our course materials are designed to inspire lifelong curiosity and prepare pupils of all backgrounds and education levels for an increasingly technological world where training and job skills are mobile, asynchronous, and self-directed.- Directly supervised administrative and support staff. Managed the detailed day-to-day aspects of multiple projects by assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of staff work. - Cultivated relationships with current and prospective Scout users including teachers, counselors, principals, and other district administrators.- Supported and collaborated with the Dean, Associate Dean, and Teacher Supervisors on a variety of ad hoc projects.

Planning: Schedule courses using the Scout’s Student Information System. Process and proofread evaluations, classes, website and promotional material. Answer phone calls and email inquiries and or direct them to appropriate staff. Outreach: Travel throughout California, meeting stakeholders to explain Scout to potential users and gather feedback. Attend educational conferences and represent Scout to a variety of stakeholders. Cultivate relationships with California High School Districts.

Instruction • Experience in various types of dances: Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Beginning Modern Techniques.• Planning and delivering dance lessons.• Creating choreography for performances and in-class routines and competition.• Choreographing full routines to a high standard for beginners and advanced students.• Explaining and demonstrating dance techniques and methods.• Monitoring student progress and giving yearly feedback. Management• Assist in event planning and logistics.• Supervision of studio and students.• Extensive interaction with students and parents of students.• Ability to build consensus among students.

The Latino Board Leadership Academy (LBLA), is a comprehensive program designed to recruit and train Latinos to serve as potential board members, and match them with boards of non-profit organizations whose missions best match their personal interests. The focus on Latino professionals, combined with the purposeful implementation of comprehensive follow-up, differentiates the LBLA from other community leadership development initiatives.
