► Experience working on public health research, programs, and community outreach, partnerships and engagement, with a focus on Colorado youth in school settings, the built environment, and pedestrian safety, equity, and access. As a graduate student at the Colorado School of Public Health, I focused on Epidemiology, Injury and Violence Prevention and the built environment. I also do work that supports safer streets and healthy communities through research, community programs, environmental scans and data collection and analysis. My professional interests include: 1) safer streets for everyone, 2) positive youth development, 3) data collection and analysis to inform practice 4) Injury and violence prevention, 3) public health programming planning, implementation, and evaluation.► Prior to my graduate studies, I was a marketing communications professional. I did qualitative and quantitative market research in order to develop and implement marketing plans for clients in many industries. Working in the various environments described in detail in my profile has helped me to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
