Would you believe that defining moments of my early career were spent working in the phosphate mine industry? I was protecting the environment of over 22,000 acres by testing air and water quality. After 6 years, I decided to pivot into consulting for the built environment. I continued to protect the health and safety of people by testing air quality, but now in buildings and workplaces. I know hard science is not for everyone but how we apply them to everyday life can make your projects run smoother and more efficiently. That’s why I love my current job as the President of Mycometer. Our testing equipment quickly gives results that are accurate and relevant, yet easy to understand. The multi-functioning instrument allows you to test for different types of bacteria and fungi on surfaces, inside porous materials, in water, in diesel and slurries, and in air. There are countless applications for this one instrument. In the training course included with the equipment I will guide you in learning how the equipment works, and how to get the most out of it.
