Directed Wilderness50 and the Wilderness Act 50th anniversary media campaign by: fostering 850 community events reaching more than 120,000 people; curating the “Wilderness Forever” Smithsonian museum photography exhibit and television special; securing 110 corporate and media sponsorships; building a wilderness-focused social media following with a 6,000 monthly post reach; generating $500,000 in logo merchandise sales; hosting a 1,200-participant conference; securing coverage in eight major national magazines and more than 1,500 local news outlets; publishing a wilderness-focused magazine that was delivered to all Congressional offices.During 2015-2016, founded and directed Wilderness Forever, a temporary non-profit organization that hosted the first National Wilderness Workshops and launched a limited youth education grant program to dispense Wilderness Act 50th anniversary profits back into the wilderness community.
