National Licensing Sales Manager, leading and mentoring a successful dedicated team across New Zealand with a focus on opportunity management and forecasting, integration into the rest of the organisation and being the procurement lead for the southern region. I was the assigned Microsoft Partner Seller for Fujitsu NZ which enables access into the Microsoft internal systems to process and approve amendments and pricing.

Microsoft New Zealand Volume Licensing Partner of the Year 2012Management and mentoring of the six member licensing team, ensuring operational excellence and meeting of financial targets. Responsible for the team delivery of over $40m revenue in licensing and renewals and management of associated vendor rebates and deal registrations. In addition, providing licensing specialist services to a small group of major accounts, including negotiation of pricing and agreements with vendors, analysis and advice around technology and licensing impacts and assisting with business justifications for purchases and renewals.Achievements:• Implemented a new licensing management tool increasing renewal recapture to over 95%• Achieved team sales target every year including annual growth• Grew the team contribution more than 300% in 7 years

Enterprise licensing sales and consulting

Standardisation of toolset, service levels & processes across the licensing team nationally and development of systems for the licensing team, this included implementing a license database including training and documentation, and reporting system. Create and optimise licensing products and services and provide guidance and strategy for G2009 (Government Microsoft agreement renewal).

Management of vendors within the software, security and UNIX/mid range categories, to achieve double the targeted Procurement market share growth. Ensure excellent vendor engagement, astute fiscal management of rebates and optimal commercials in place and performance monitoring. Involved the roll-out and ongoing management of Gen-i Vendor Management framework to key vendors and working closely with Gen-i teams to ensure great client outcomes, managing vendor contact and enhancing our knowledge, capability and relationships.

Various roles around procurement and licensing account management including managing the complete procurement relationship for a major NZ bank.
