All Things Possible Medical Fundraising gifts wheelchair vans to safely transport those who can't walk. Electric wheelchairs weigh between 300 and 400 pounds, making them impossible to transport. Yet they are critical for the disabled to get to/from their medical and therapy appointments, go to work, school, church, visit family or simply go to the grocery store. Neither insurance or Medicaid covers wheelchair vans, which cost upwards of $40,000 for one that is nearly 10 years old. By donating toward these vans, you are giving the disabled the opportunity to have the inclusiveness and freedom we all enjoy.We are always in need of sponsors for the fundraising events we hold each year. ATP began after I had personally been through a life-threatening medical crisis where my immune system decided to attack my liver. I thank God for allowing me to keep my same liver and not go through a life altering transplant. However, the bills were outrageous. That's when I knew that my life was spared to help others with medical needs not covered by insurance. As the Founder and Executive Director of All Things Possible, I now do fundraising, event planning, donor relations, public speaking, marketing and media relations, writing, volunteer recruitment and networking. I continue to meet wonderful families in medical crisis who need help and hope. I truly believe we are put on this earth to help each other get through this life with as few bumps and bruises as possible. Families in life-threatening medical situations need to focus on rest and healing, not worrying about whether to pay the doctor bill or the electric bill. We all have a purpose for our lives. Finding that purpose is the challenge. Looking back, everything that has happened in my life was leading me to this place and this time. For Medical Fundraisers - Set up and maintained web pages for each recipient to include their photo, story of their medical situation and donation option. Emails awere sent every few weeks to their friends and family soliciting donations on their behalf. Celebration parties follow each medical fundraiser where recipients can meet their donors, and update their medical situation. 100% of funds donated went directly to paying their medical bills.
