I am the Professional Development Partner for the firm. Taking a strategic and practical approach to leading the firm's talent and organizational development initiatives, I help lawyers flourish in their careers and effectively serve clients by developing and deploying training, leadership development, coaching, and other programs and resources . I also help to design and lead the firm's lawyer recruiting, staffing, compensation and evaluation strategies and processes, ensuring they align with the firm's strategy and client needs. K&S University is under my umbrella, and offers numerous accredited training programs for lawyers and clients each year. All of this work is done with an eye toward continual improvement and innovation, bringing to the firm best practices in a way appropriate to firm culture.I speak and write frequently on talent management subjects, including a recent interview about how law firms are responding to millenials, published in an Am Law publication, Fulton County Daily Report.Prior to becoming the Professional Development Partner full-time in 2003, I developed extensive experience in a wide variety of technology-related matters, including outsourcing, intellectual property licensing, software development and licensing, e-commerce, and professional consulting services. Outside of my profession, I enjoy hiking, skiing, snow-shoeing and other outdoor pursuits.
