I received the opportunity to intern with Travelers in the claim department. Through this I have gained experience and greater understanding in five lines - auto, workers compensation, property, general liability, and operations - while working with a variety of different managers, leaders, and mentors throughout the company. I completed a summer project with my fellow interns in the Richardson and Houston offices over electric vehicles and how increased levels of automation have created new problems that the insurance industry will need to adapt to.
