Collaborated with art and edit teams on conceiving and executing visual concepts and designs for all sections of 2 magazines (30 pages each issue) with a focus on ingenuity and emotional impact while being mindful of budget constraints and deadlines. Sourced photography and commissioned illustrations as needed. Earned recognition as 2019 Folio Ozzie Award Winner for Feature Design, Consumer, Above 500,000 Circulation (Shape). Also initiated creating digital animations for articles in Apple News+ editions of both titles –7 per issue– the first and only Meredith titles with this product enhancement. Earned 2021 Ozzie Awards Finalist nomination for Digital Integration with Print.

Directed and mentored freelance designers and interns by providing design guidance, goals, insight, and feedback while encouraging creativity in a collaborative team environment on both magazine and marketing projects. Projects included: Direct mail pieces; WW Weekly (eight-page publication distributed in meeting rooms); 40-page Spring Into Action guide included in member kits available for purchase in meeting rooms. Briefed and art directed photo shoots (food, fashion, still-life), working with photographers and stylists both on set and remotely. Conceived and art directed the Simply Solo cookbook sold in WW meeting rooms in 2013.

Launched For Me, a start-up monthly magazine that served as sibling publication to Woman's Day. Designed FOB, BOB, and well features of monthly magazine as part of three-person design team. Contributed visual solutions for all sections of magazine (beauty, fashion, home, health, fitness, travel, celebrity). Directed and styled photo shoots (food, beauty, still-life) as well as researched stock photography to illustrate articles. Marked up and reviewed color proofs.
