Started Crossfit in June 2009 to get in condition after a getting a serious staph infection in February 2008 which resulted in 2 additional surgeries and the balance of 2008 spent recovering. Released to exercise in March 2009 I heard of an exciting "new" type of Gym opening nearby. I went to Crossfit 714 and signed up that day. That first day I couldn't do even one sit up or anything else! You start where you are and keep working. I began competing in 2010.2010 1st place Orange County Throwdown women's master division2010 1 place NLI women's master division2010 2nd place SoCal Regional Games Qualifier women's master division2010 CrossFit Games Masters competitor2011 Reebok CrossFit Games Masters competitor 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games Masters competitor. In 2012 over 630 women worldwide competed for only 20 spots in the Reebok CrossFit Games

Lisa enjoys many outdoor activities including exercising with her dog, Kaso, a handsome black German Shepherd. After selling both of my retail franchise locations I took a break for about two years. I was shopping for my home improvement projects at the new Home Depot which had opened nearby. It seemed there was room to improve the sale training to help customers be more successful with their projects and also increase the average ticket at the stores. I decided to explore my options with Home Depot and get to know the company culture.It was very interesting to go from business owner to employee of a large company! I enjoyed the opportunities and the challenges. After about a year I was given the opportunity to teach sales training in several stores in a district with the goal of making measurable increases in average ticket. Our goal was a 10% increase, which we achieved. At that time in my life, I decided it was not the right fit for me and I left the company. I am happy to see that HD has regained its focus on customer service......"The magic that happens in the isle between the Associate and the Customer"...it's a GREAT company!
