I thrive on deeply understanding and designing exceptional customer experiences. One of my strengths is operating from a strong empathic lens to ensure desired outcomes. I am passionate about making a difference with impact. Building on a career of customer experience design, I applied this background to the education sector. I joined AUT University in 2015, where I developed Strategy Lab to better understand the student voice through empathy research, which in turn helped inform strategic decision making and support student success.Before AUT, I managed key components of the Learning Experiences at Better by Design (part of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise) being the annual CEO Summit, United States Study Tour, and Design Thinking Masterclass (facilitated by Stanford University d.school professors). I have also spent several years overseas and worked in multi-national organisations in London and Dublin. I am a driven and personable professional with an unparalleled work ethic and an enthusiasm for continuous learning! I am committed to embracing change, turning a negative into a positive, finding better ways of doing things, and creating lasting relationships.
