Community engagement, experiential-based learning, and organizational development guide much of my personal and professional life. I have a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and a Master's of Education in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University. My background is centered around building and facilitating leadership development and service learning programs, college student support services, coaching and managing staff teams, cultural awareness and international travel. I value student development, equity, social justice, sustainable living, and global awareness. After serving as an Admissions Counselor at Colorado State University, I lived and worked overseas for five years predominately coordinating service-based immersion programs for high school students in addition to environmental non-profit work. I have extensive experience developing and facilitating outdoor education programs for students from elementary to college age. I have formal teaching experience instructing courses at both the community college level as well as at a large four-year university. I am currently a Program Manager for Global Leadership Adventures supporting immersive service learning experiences for teens.
