I received my Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology from St. Edward's University in Austin. Currently, I am helping others in the areas of disordered eating, trauma, and mood recovery. Prior to current experience in counseling, I enjoyed teaching wellness practices through dance fitness, barre, and beginner’s yoga. I continue expanding my eclectic skill-sets to integrate mental health advocacy and my passions for healthy movement, expressive arts, play, and somatic healing. Collaborating with clients on their path towards healing, wholeness, and recovery is my passion. My experience(s) in a variety of health and wellness settings has led me to continue studies towards certification of 500 hours as a Registered Yoga Teacher, (RYT500), Perinatal wellness, and Ayurveda. Being a member of the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a certified Health Coach and Group Fitness Instructor also helps me stay informed through trainings on wellness and movement modalities. My previous business experience(s) include marketing, research, publishing, graphic design, and event planning.
