I thrive on the diversity. A key part of the role involved developing and leading the marketing team and senior partners. It was vital that the entire team understandstood the firm's strategic marketing and BD plans and that we were all on the same page in the execution of the plan. Part of my job was to make it happen. Two components of the role I thoroughly enjoyed :• Coaching upcoming associates and partners on their personal marketing strategies and business development skills, and• Working with new practise groups to develop and execute strategies to help grow market share amongst newly identified target markets.Internal communication and reporting is always important, but in my role, it was even more critical with it being a partnership owned firm.
