Lissa Baum has been with IDB Bank in a variety of managerial roles for more than 30 years. Lissa finds her position and responsibilities at IDB Bank to be especially rewarding because the bank's philosophy has always been to help clients achieve their goals on a very personal basis. With close to 41 years' experience in the financial service arena working as a lender, Lissa values her reputation as a trusted friend. In her executive role at IDB Bank Lissa oversees Middle Market/Healthcare & Not For Profit/ Israeli Business, Asset Based, Real Estate and Factoring and working with the LA and Florida offices in building their respective loan portfolios.After college Lissa joined Chemical Bank (currently JP Morgan Chase) in various middle market lending positions. She worked in their garment center office for over 10 years before joining IDB Bank. Lissa Baum earned her Bachelors of Commerce degree from Mc Gill University in Montreal, Canada where she was born and raised. She also holds an MBA in Finance from NYU, where she met her husband, Robert. They have one son Jeremy who recently graduated from NYU's Stern School of Business.Her philosophy of understanding and working with the customer as the focal point has enabled the Bank to build a strong and loyal customer base in the markets it serves. Lissa Baum is a hands-on and supportive leader who works hard to help her client’s assets work as hard as they can. Lissa embodies the very essence of the Bank’s tagline, “It’s Personal”.

  A 30-year veteran of IDB with more than 40 years of experience in financial services, Lissa oversees all Commercial Banking operations, including the Middle Market, Food & Beverage, Education, Healthcare & Not-For-Profit, Israeli Desk, Real Estate, Staffing Services, Asset-Based Lending, and Factoring operations. She also works closely with the Bank’s California and Florida branches to build their respective loan portfolios.
