This is a volunteer position on the IABC Edmonton Board of Directors. The Edmonton chapter is among the five largest IABC chapters in the world, with more than 430 active members in various communications professions. I have served five years on the board, with prior positions as Director of Administration and Director of Special Events. During previous terms, including my term as President, I was responsible for key functions, including major sponsorship and overall strategic planning for the chapter. During my term as Director of Special Events, I planned and executed the implementation of a online awards submission and judging system for our Capital Awards Program. This portfolio was also responsible for planning and executing the awards program annually, and the accompanying Capital Awards Gala & AGM.

Working on the Internal Communications team, I specialize in strategic communications planning and execution for Capital Power's employees based across North America.
