About Dan Sandler
Dan Sandler is a I help build things for people! at City National Bank. He possess expertise in online advertising, flash, actionscript, digital media, advertising and 35 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Dan hired me at PointRoll and I couldn't be more grateful. I worked directly under him on our Asset Intake team where he taught me everything I needed to know to get acquainted with working at the company. This is no small feat, as learning the ropes at PointRoll is daunting and overwhelming for many newly hired employees. But, Dan was a great teacher and manager. I learned "how to PointRoll" in no time thanks to his patience and his allowing me to shadow his own work. Any time I had questions he had a clear answer, and he was dedicated to making sure I had a grasp of the work. Of course he was only able to do this due to his own extensive grasp of the technology and software. I have been told that it takes some employees about a month before everything to click. Under Dan I was up and running in about a week. After some time I was also able to appreciate how hard Dan works. He had a team of about three or four of us at any given time underneath him, but he never just delegated the burden to us. He was an equal player in sharing the workload. He would also organize monthly meetings to check in and make sure we were all in a good place any to discuss anything we had on our minds. He would keep the atmosphere very open and comfortable which I believe made our team that much more unified, hard working and efficient. This isn't always easy when some of your team members are scattered across the country, but we were a well oiled machine despite some of us being in different physical locations. Lastly I'll say that Dan is the reason I had the opportunity to move to the position I currently fill. After some time he recognized potential in me and started to lend me out to our Production Engineering department (now Creative Development) to help them out when they were slammed, knowing that I was capable of doing the work. Eventually I moved over to that department permanently. Dan sat me down and asked me directly if I wanted to stay in Asset Intake or move over to Production Engineering. I saw this not only as a display of Dan's confidence in me, but also of his respect for me and his leadership skills, allowing me to choose whatever path I thought was best for myself. I will always be grateful to Dan and I know that he could do the same for many others as he has done for me. He would be a valuable asset at any company that is fortunate enough to bring him onto their team.", "I am very lucky and fortunate to have worked with Dan. During our time working together, Dan always made himself available to answer any questions I had and would explain things in a way that made learning fun and enjoyable. He is very approachable and is always willing to go the extra mile in order to help out and get the job done right. Dan hired me right out of college and I attribute all of my success at PointRoll to him. Anyone would be extremely fortunate to have Dan in their corner.", and "For every Actionscript wall I ran into, Dan had a solution to get me around it. His vast knowledge of programming directly contributed to the success of my team and our company. He's a great collaborator who's easy to communicate with. Dan's success is a result of his constant focus on ensuring projects progress in the most efficient way possible."
