•Plans and executes campus events focused on monthly cultural celebrations, daily, and weekly celebrations, leadership workshops, career development, academic success, and Student Government related events designed to promote student connection and retention •Assists with the creation, organization, and implementation of MATC districtwide events•Makes connections and works closely with other departments to collaborate on campus events•Creates and designs marketing for events. Advertises on campus, social media, and Campus Labs•Works with internal and external vendors. •Acts as point of contact for faculty advisors of student organizations•Serves as advisor to the MATC West Allis Student Government Association and District Student Government•Provides in-person and virtual trainings to students and staff regarding the college’s student engagement platform, department policies and procedures, and trainings to advisors of student organizations•Successfully implemented a food pantry for students in need at the West Allis Campus and oversees its daily operation•Organizes and oversees execution of Student Government Association fundraisers for local non-profits•Oversees student union operations including functionality of equipment, space reservations, and redesign•Manages the distribution of student ids and U-Passes for the college’s West Allis Campus•Successfully organized the 2022 Holiday Toy Drive on campus. I solicited donations (toys or money) from staff and students to support our students with children who needed assistance in providing a happy holiday to their children. •Maintains an annual budget of $65,000 for West Campus Student Life activities•Creates standard operating procedures for the Student Life Department•Works as part of a team to revamp the Student Life Department Student Organization Manual•Works with diverse student populations •Supervises and trains administrative assistants, student workers, and interns
