I currently lead the Mechanistic Biology and Profiling group in the UK within AstraZeneca responsible for providing both in vitro SAR driving and mechanistic pharmacology data to projects across multiple therapeutic areas in support of both efficacy and safety. I am an accomplished ion channel electrophysiologist and project leader with 16 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and have worked in the Gastrointestinal, Pain and Neuroscience field as well as preclinical safety from which I have gained an in depth understanding of the drug discovery process.
