I work to strengthen health systems to provide higher quality care and improved experience for all people. I have done this in a variety of capacities and contexts across my career, by working in and partnering with providers across the healthcare continuum, payers, and life sciences organizations, in North America, Europe, Australia, and Africa. A few representative projects across my career include:* Researching and writing best practice studies to help global hospital executives with their most pressing strategic challenges* Developing a maturity model that positioned client as thought leader in the market and served as planning framework for sales, implementation, and ongoing partnership with customers* Designing and launching an Intensive Case Management program for the most complex patients in Washington State* Developing a course to empower pregnant women to make informed choices about their obstetric care in Iași, Romania * Surveying hospitals in Lagos, Nigeria on their health waste management practicesA few themes and skills span my work. I undertake primary and secondary research to identify important and transferable insights. I develop programs to achieve the desired outcomes. I create deliverables that teach and equip decision-makers to take actionable steps. I engage relevant stakeholders to ensure buy-in and collaboration. And I support all of this with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, by building and managing effective teams, as well as streamlining processes. And I have a lot of fun along the journey.I now draw from this experience to support my independent consulting clients in their strategic challenges.
