We are a full range manufacturer and offer added value products designed to cope with the harshest of operating conditions.From my own personal experience of working within various maintenance teams, I often suffered from a lack of quality technical information, sometimes hindering my ability to make the optimal decisions, and even today, working for NSK and visiting many customers, I still see this as being a challenge for maintenance teams.My mission is to share with customers, the technical knowledge developed by NSK and use it to solve the many challenges I still see today, helping them to increase their 'know-how' and achieve higher productivity. This is my commitment to building a brighter future, a commitment that brings me immense satisfaction.To achieve this I use AIP, NSK’s Asset Improvement Programme, which is focused on identifying improvement opportunities in the three key assets of: Plant, People and Processes. NSK’s AIP Solutions will help customers to improve their plant reliability, people skills and competencies and improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of their processes, which will reduce the total cost of ownership.As an example, for customers in the Mining and Cement Industries, I was able to identify the root cause of failure of bearings used on some critical equipment, and then recommended an upgraded bearing arrangement. The result was a major increase in the bearing operating life (4 times that of the original bearings), significantly reducing the customer’s expenditures and maintenance costs, improving their overall productivity and profitability.
