Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health Hospital in New Brunswick is one of New Jersey's trauma hospitals. Their goal is to provide the best care for their patients. As a patient monitor, one works with suicidal patients and patients who need closed observation. We have to make sure the patient is safe at all times.● Evaluate the room to make sure there isn't any object that can be harmful to the patient ● Redirects the patient if confused● Assist the nurse when needed ● Ensure that the patient is comfortable and assist their needs

At Archangel Raphael's Mission, their mission is to provide health and hygiene services to those who are in need in New Brunswick, NJ. They provide food meals to PPE and hygiene supplies. They are truly committed to giving back to the community in any possible way. I was a part of the outreach committee for this organization. I, along, with the other two interns, promoted ARM to Rutgers' organizations and local churches to gain donations of any kind. I was trained on how to handle the different stations that ARM provides at the church where they are located. The different stations included the following: the kitchen where meals are package daily, the clothing station, and the entrance section where people come to get their meal that includes fruits, water, and snacks.• Provided food meals to about 60 people including 21 meals that are sent to a local governmental motel in New Brunswick• Promoted ARM to Rutgers Bloustein School and organizations for donations • Raised over $500 through Rutgers contacts and fundraisers events • Uploaded weekly social media posts that included health promotion and information• Promoted awareness of COVID vaccines to the people with COVID flyers that included the location of the clinic or place• Assembled over 291 care packages

Jumpstart is a national early childhood education program that focuses on children's language skills, literacy, and social-emotional development. ● Created lesson plans for Pre-K Children at Essex's County College daycare● Used colors, toys, games, and songs to emphasize the key points of the lesson
