I analyze societal challenges through multiple lenses, communicate across disciplines, and engage in collaborative research and problem-solving with peers and community partners. This involves mentoring local youth and working in supervised, interdisciplinary research teams to address issues faced by underrepresented communities in San Diego, including health, migration, housing, urban development, environmental justice, education, climate action, human rights, and community development.
