Organized strategic planning operational process for $9.5M, 200 employee social service agency as member of board and agency leadership staff strategic planning committee. Researched, purchased, and led installation process of Raiser’s Edge. Partnered with Executive Director to identify need for board training and development; with the intent to provide necessary infrastructure, role clarification, and increased investment by board members resulting in growth in size and impact of board. Triaged all print, email, and voice mail communication for Executive Director; responded directly or drafted responses and talking points for Executive Director. Answered board and funders questions and concerns. Collaborated with other members of agency’s executive and leadership teams in Executive Director’s absence to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of agency.

Member of 9 person executive team. Served as operational strategist and point person for ED; analyzing and managing multiple, confidential, and complex interpersonal communications and projects involving internal and external stakeholders with an eye to agency mission and strategic plan. Directed transition of IT infrastructure for 126 users in 12 sites to new consulting company; initially networked peer-to-peer, moved to cloud environment. Led operational start-up of $300K home visiting program, 4 staff members and 300 clients while Director of Child Welfare on leave. Formed and Chaired agency’s first United Way Employee Contribution Committee; increased giving from 3% to 57% of full-time staff in first year. Grew holiday giving drive from 150 children, 8 donors and 300 gifts to 600 children, 40 donors and approximately 6,000 gifts; trained successor. Analyzed functioning of the development department; met with development consultants to lay groundwork for strategic redirection of the development office.

Ensured smooth operation of agency headquarters. Supervised 2-5 staff members.Provided key transitional support and institutional memory to incoming Executive Director. Began serving as point person between executive director, staff, board members, and funders, at first specifically focused on operational issues. Wrote gift acknowledgements; proofread annual fund materials, print and on-line publications, and grants. Grew to edit same materials for consistent, clinically accurate, content messaging.
