CurrentAt Circle the City, I create and implement communications strategies that highlight the full scope of our services and showcase the innovative ways we provide care to people facing homelessness. Whether it’s through local media, national coverage, or international outlets like The New York Times, AP, BBC, NHK, and Reuters, I focus on making sure our work is visible and understood.My work includes collaborating with documentary crews and securing media coverage that highlights the real stories behind our mission. From press releases to interviews, I ensure every piece of content reflects who we are and why our work matters.I also write speeches for our leadership team, helping them communicate the impact of our work in a way that resonates with diverse audiences and stays true to our mission.Key Responsibilities:Media Relations: I manage our media relationships and vet incoming requests to ensure that every story, whether local or global, is consistent with our mission and brand.Award Nominations & Ads: I handle most of our award nominations and ad placements, ensuring that our achievements and innovations are recognized.Crisis Communications: I manage crisis communications to protect our reputation and maintain transparency with the public, media, and stakeholders.Internal & External Communications: I keep staff informed through internal communications while engaging donors, partners, and the public through external messaging.Event Support: I help promote our events, from fundraisers to public awareness campaigns, ensuring they have the visibility and participation they need.What Drives Me:I’m passionate about sharing the stories of the people we serve and the difference our work makes.
