Worked with external and internal stakeholders to assess the need for financial education and to re-evaluate the FRB's role in providing financial education to the public. Subsequently reallocated more than $500K of marketing spend to streamline and target marketing and outreach. Leveraged external stakeholders' existing financial education and financial literacy programs, thus minimizing the duplication of efforts. Marketed and delivered Federal Reserve outreach programs including, but not limited to: economic education, financial literacy, and research on access to banking issues. - Built and managed relationships with media, community groups, schools, libraries, bankers, local and state government agencies, foreign consulates, and elected officials - Developed strategic communication plans and marketing programs directed to consumers (B2C) to connect individuals to financial literacy programs.•Created and managed Money$mart Week, a high profile annual PR and marketing campaign that utilized partnerships to organize and promote programs and services available to help people in Illinois with personal finance issues. This job combined the roles previously held by two Directors (one for college recruiting and one for experienced hire). Oversaw a comprehensive college recruiting process at accounting programs at Notre Dame, the University of Illinois, the University of Michigan, and other schools in the Illinois area. Directed recruiting for experienced audit, tax, and consulting professionals to fill senior-level roles at Deloitte.

Recruited by the President of the America's organization to launch and lead all Human Resource functions for 10 locations in the US and Latin America. APV Americas was a fully owned subsidiary of APV plc, a UK based company which engineers food and beverage processing systems. It is now Invensys.This was probably the most fun job I have ever had. I traveled around the world and got to work with expats from all over the world. We had a company soccer tournament that was hosted in a different country every year. I am proud of the fact that at age 27 I set up a brand new HR department from scratch but when I think about this job, I smile at the good memories I have of the people I worked and played with.
