Ever since 2010, I was never seen without a camera in hand. In high school, I took senior pictures for the yearbook, and directed and shot artistic photoshoots for my fashion design class. Sure, I dabbled in fashion design, sewing, and graphics, but excelled in photography. In college, I broadened my knowledge by practicing with a 35mm film camera and developing the photos in a dark room. The advanced photography courses introduced me to the many paths of professional photography, from product/still-life photography to live event photography. By senior year of college, I was working for Bridgewater State University as a Student Life Photographer and posting albums weekly to the University's social media accounts and website. My unique passion for chiaroscuro photography landed an award-winning cover of the Bridge, an art publication by BSU. In all of the jobs I have held, I have used my creative talent to elevate projects and events. For example, during my time working at Old Navy as a sales associate, I was hired by the franchisee to photograph the grand opening of that location. Additionally, when I worked as a receptionist at a local hair salon, I designed an 8 page employee handbook. While finishing up my final semester of college, I was contracted at Boston Interiors as a photo editor. From 2016-2022, I worked as the technology instructor, graphic designer, and photographer for St. John Paul II School. It was throughout this time that I developed a strong passion for design as I was given many opportunities to design publications, including an alumni magazine and an annual report. Throughout college and beyond, I have made many connections who later became clients. I have photographed a few weddings, but specialize in more intimate photo sessions, such as couples, newborns, professional headshots, and family portraits. More recently, I have branched out in the graphic design world by developing custom resumes, small business logos, book layouts, brochures, and more. It’s my mission to collide my talents of photography and graphic design to help people achieve their dreams.
