I've worked in both the general insurance and financial services industry for several years, more recently within the world of pensions and employee benefits since 2013.I am passionate about helping people understand what their pension or benefits are all about, working with clients to improve their standard of communications - whether it's mostly on a visual level, or helping to make the language easier to read. My background was in general insurance until 2010, then a move to Risk and Compliance taught me about the complexities involved in helping to manage risk and the types of complaints that can arise in the industry - particularly when people are unable to properly understand what they've been given and are unhappy!Over the last 9 years, my role has evolved where I work closer with the end results on communications delivered to members/employees which is very rewarding. Helping find a great solution to delivering difficult subjects and working with clients from start to finish on a project is a fantastic way to feel as though you've done a good job.In my spare time I love walking with my husband and our Golden retriever, Monty in the green areas around Malvern, sometimes we even make it to the hills!
