I held various roles as a tax specialist between 1999 and 2004 (prior to and during my tertiary studies). Completed Payroll for 50+ clients on weekly/monthly basis as required. Completed up to 500 personal tax returns on behalf of clients annually. Completed basic annual accounts for small/medium businesses (approx 200 per year). Completed company tax returns and VAT (GST) returns. I worked on behalf of small accountancy firms that had approx 300 clients on a part time basis (2 x firms doing on average 1.5 days per week at each flexed through the year depending on demand) while also studying full time to gain a first class honours degree. At one firm I was the sole tax specialist, and was able to ensure that all deadlines were achieved for all clients year on year.
