I managed a team of 5 – 9 software technology engineers that provided support and enhancements for a suite of 11 software systems.• Several products and platforms were developed by a third party. Senior management wanted to bring all software development in-house to reduce costs and increase efficiencies. Requested by management and promoted into the position to accomplish the work needed to migrate the products and infrastructure through the development team.• Provided 24/7 technical support with minimal staff resulting in migrating all 11 products in-house which eliminated the need and cost for vendor development and support. • Due to an abrupt severing of the vendor contract, the team was required to delve into the code without documentation and begin support. By practicing good leadership, managed team members to keep focused on high business priorities, and ensuing products were up and running during the difficult transition period.
