As the Chief Financial Officer at TNTP, I was a member of the Executive Team and led the Finance, Technology, and Legal Departments. I was responsible for developing and executing the fiscal and administrative strategy for our growing and financially thriving $70M+ non-profit organization of 400 staff members across the country.

I was responsible for the smooth and efficient management of the Global Fund for Women’s internal operations. My central role was to align our financial, technical, and evaluation, grant making functions with our vision and strategic goals. I oversaw the Learning, Evaluation, & Impact, Finance, Information Management, Information Technology, Office.

Designed, developed, and delivered in-person and on-line nonprofit financial management curriculum to graduate business students.

Oversaw current operations and guided the organization through a healthy leadership transition. Managed existing staff and obligations of on-going projects and grants. Supported Board by recommending policies and structural options. Met with funders to maintain donor relations.

Provided leadership to finance, grants management, human resources, and operations, and information technology departments. Oversaw design, implementation, and evaluation of systems for human resources management, cost allocation, grant tracking, budgeting, investment management, financial reporting, and annual auditing. Lead systems conversion and site.

Provided financial management consulting and training to CompassPoint clients. Designed, developed, and published financial management educational materials.

Directed organizational development activities, foundation and corporate grant writing and fund raising programs. Designed and implemented fiscal and government contract monitoring systems, personnel policies, and annual budgeting process for community-based non-profit. Supervised accounting and fund raising staff.

Deepened relationships with top 200 branch clients and developed new business opportunities. Overall branch management responsibilities included business development, personnel, sales management, and operational control.

Designed and developed branch manager training curriculum and innovative, computer-based employee training strategy including customized application software. Managed service quality measurement and service improvement programs for 250 branches and operational support units. Designed and delivered sales and productivity management training.
